Research Description

I am the study coordinator for an R01 (led by Dr. Ananda Amstadter and Dr. Jacquelyn Meyers) focused on the characterizing the genetic comorbidity of PTSD and Substance Use Disorders; with the aim of running the first large scale GWAS of comorbid PTSD and SUD within the highly collaborative framework of the PGC. I am also involved in various post-GWAS studies utilizing techniques such as gSEM, TWAS, Mendelian randomization, SMR, PGS analyses, etc. Additionally, I contribute to Swedish registry studies of PTSD using latent quantitative genetic techniques like FGRS to better understand the genetic architecture and influences of PTSD.
