Research Interests

Statistical and Psychiatric Genetics

Research Description

I am interested in statistical genetics method development and applied analysis of many genetic data types (GWAS, rare variants, sequencing, pharmacogenetic, copy number and epigenetic). In statistical genetics, I developed, among others, methods for i) analyzing common and rare variants in gene/genomic region and ii) selecting suggestive signals in genome scans. The method for selecting suggestive signals is implemented in publicly available software. For the applied analysis I am interested in i) analyzing psychiatric genetic data, ii) using many commonly used methods/tools for statistical genetics and iii) developing statistical tools for non-standard analyses and prototyping them in R.
