Education
B.S. in Biology, Columbus State University, 2016
Research Interests
- Genetic architecture of alcohol and substance use disorders
- Chronic and acute pain conditions and alcohol-induced analgesia
- Data science, machine learning, and statistical programming
Research Description
I’m currently exploring the genetic underpinnings of alcohol-induced analgesia using recombinant inbred strains of mice. Alcohol analgesia is complex, and we’re leveraging behavioral assays, quantitative trait locus mapping, and transcriptomic information to identify areas of the genome driving variation in this trait.
