Research Description

My research investigates how hormonal contraceptive use during adolescence may influence depression risk and brain development. Using longitudinal data from the ABCD Study, I combine genetically informed MR-DoC2 statistical modeling with fMRI analyses to examine how hormonal contraception relates to changes in mood and the developing brain while accounting for genetic and environmental influences.
