Research Description

I am broadly interested in utilizing behavioral and molecular genetic techniques to understand how genetic factors influence psychiatric disorder progression and onset. During my graduate training, I plan to conduct interdisciplinary research in depression with a focus on the genetic, environmental, and clinical factors that contribute to the epidemiologic sex differences in depression.
